Commercial import and export

For businesses moving merchandise between the US and Mexico, in either direction. We coordinate the pickup, the paperwork and the brokers so your goods keep moving.

Southbound and northbound

Exporting to customers in Mexico, or importing product you sell in the US? Commercial shipments need more paperwork than personal parcels. Both countries' customs want to see who's buying, who's selling, what the goods are and where they were made.

We work alongside licensed customs brokers on both sides of the border: a US customs broker for imports into the United States, and an agente aduanal for imports into Mexico. You deal with our office, and we coordinate the rest.

What we handle

  • Receiving and staging of cartons and pallets at our Brownsville office.
  • Document preparation: commercial invoice, packing list and the details your broker needs.
  • Broker coordination on the US and Mexican sides.
  • Transport across the border and on to your customer's door or warehouse.
  • Regular schedules for businesses that ship every week, so inventory moves on predictable days.

Before your first shipment

Commercial imports into Mexico usually need the receiving company to be registered as an importer. If your customer in Mexico isn't set up yet, tell us early and we'll explain what's needed.

Have your product descriptions, quantities and values ready when you request a quote. The more we know up front, the more accurate your price will be.
